Designer Spotlight: Carlos Campos

Menswear has been greatly reviving at this day and age. More and more designers are coming up with fresh, creative, and innovative options for guys who want more flavor with their clothes. I'm glad to see this rise especially to those who aren't afraid to experiment. I've been meaning to make this fashion post  for my guy readers out there, and I hope this will inspire more of you to try these better alternatives the next time you plan on going shopping.

I'm currently loving up-and-coming New York-based designer Carlos Campos's collections. His designs sum up everything I wish every guy would wear: Modern and trendy but timeless pieces that are great for mixing and matching. Vibrant and solid color pieces are what mostly comprise his collection. He then experiments these with statement textiles like the Aztec/Tribal print [which has been very much trending] and geometric cut-outs. His choice of color palettes for every collection are as well genius. The silhouettes of his clothes, the well-tailored pieces, the cropped lapel jackets and minimal accessories are just some of the gorgeous elements that are notable about his designs. Here are a few of my favorites that were featured from his Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

The creative genius, Carlos Campos
